Things I Am Loving Lately....

Below is a list of 34 things I am absolutely LOVING lately!!!!  All of these things make me smile, as well as inspire me greatly.  I hope they do the same for you.  :)

1) The various signs that my hubby has bought to place around our house.  








2. PENS!!!!  I've always loved pens, because I love writing so much!!! 




3. Nature's Pride 100% Whole Wheat Bread....My new favorite.


4.  Scentsy thingee with different smelling scents!!!



5.  Getting surprise notes & letters in my mailbox!!!



6.  The Pantry that my husband built just for me!!!  :)



7.  BAKING COOKIES!!!!!!!!!! My favorites to make are chocolate chip, peanut butter, and Reese's Peanut Butter Surprise Cookies.  All homemade of course! The first two pictures are my own recipe's. 









NOW.....Here is the recipe for Reeses Peanut Butter Surprise Cookies....They are sooooooooo good!!!!! {Recipe from Picky Palate}
Ingredients
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • Reeses Peanut Butter cups
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line your baking sheets(s) with parchment paper and set aside.
Using an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugars until well combined.  Add eggs – one at a time and then vanilla, mix until well combined.
Mix together flour, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Carefully add the dry ingredients to the wet. Mix in the chocolate chips. Take one scoop of cookie dough, place Reeses peanut butter cup on top and then take a second scoop of cookie dough and place on top of the Reeses. Press the cookie dough together, sealing the edges and then carefully mold into a ball.
Bake 9-13 minutes.  Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack. Enjoy!

14.  This cute LIGHTING idea that I got out of a magazine.  They use votives (mini recycled-glass tea light lanterns) at varying heights....and hang them from low-hanging branches outside using clear fishing line. Cute and unique!!!! KIDS would love this idea!!!
